Trigo Booking is a connection platform that displays travel packages from independent package owners and connects you with them. This Privacy Policy explains, in simple terms, what information we collect and how we use it when you use our app.
2. Information We Collect
We only collect what we need to run the app:
- Phone number – to sign you in and verify your identity using a one-time password (OTP).
- Account ID & login token – to keep you signed in and link your content to your account.
- Package details you create – name, locations, itinerary, price, hotel info, and the contact number/email you choose to show on a package.
- PDF files you upload – the package documents you choose to share.
- Support messages – any issue or request you send us.
3. What We Do NOT Collect
- We do NOT collect any payment or card details.
- We do NOT collect your device location (pickup/drop are just text you type).
- We do NOT require your name, email, or photo to create an account.
- We do NOT sell your data to anyone.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To create your account and keep you signed in.
- To display travel packages and connect you with package owners.
- To let you save packages and view your own posts.
- To automatically read uploaded PDFs and fill in package details.
- To respond to your support requests and keep the app secure.
5. Document Processing (AI)
PDF documents you upload may be processed by Google's Gemini AI service to automatically extract package details such as itinerary, destinations, pricing, accommodation information, and locations. Package owners are responsible for reviewing extracted information before publishing it, as automated processing may occasionally contain errors.
6. Services We Use
We use trusted providers to run the app, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Firebase Authentication (Google) – phone/OTP sign-in. Policy
- Supabase – stores your account, packages, and PDF files. Policy
- Google Gemini AI – reads uploaded PDFs. Policy
- WhatsApp – opens only when you tap to contact a package owner. Policy
7. Data Storage & Security
Your information is stored securely on our providers' servers and sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
8. Your Choices & Data Deletion
- You can sign out at any time to clear locally stored data.
- You can delete travel packages you have posted from within the app.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing trigobooking@gmail.com. We will process verified deletion requests within 30 days.
9. Children's Privacy
The app is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has shared data with us, please contact us so we can remove it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes take effect once posted in the app, and the "Last updated" date will be revised accordingly.
